Our site was recently randomly selected by the FDA for a routine audit in reference to an ongoing study being conducted by Dr. Alfred Rhyne. While no one is ever excited about an audit (especially being randomly selected by the FDA), being audited does reaffirm that a site is following the federal regulations and guidelines. An FDA audit is a good checks and balance system to ensure that internal processes for quality data collection are working. Congratulations to Dr. Rhyne and to the study coordinator, Rebekah Smith, on a successful audit!
