For more information Click HereInternships at OCRI are non-paid with terms ranging from one academic semester to one year in length. Interns have the opportunity to work part-time or full-time and will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Internships work under the direction of the department manager. Weekly meetings will allow interns to share their research plans and progress with the research team.
In addition, students are encouraged to attend faculty presentations and are invited to participate in OCRI community events.
To qualify, you must meet one of the following education pre-requisites:
1. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program requiring course credit
2. Applying to a medical school program
3. Currently enrolled in medical school with the intention of participating in a research gap year

In partnership with Davidson College, four students are eligible annually for an Independent Study program entitled “Research in Biology I: Evaluation of Outcomes of Surgical Interventions in Select Musculoskeletal Disorders.” The program is designed to provide individualized hands-on learning to students aspiring to become future doctors or clinical specialists.
