Throw out everything you think you know about Oscar Miller Day, we’re doing things a bit differently this year.
The physicians of the OrthoCarolina Spine Center are hosting the 39th Annual Oscar Miller Day Symposium taking place on Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Sheraton Charlotte Hotel.
Oscar Miller Day is an annual continuing medical education (CME) event in Charlotte, NC co-sponsored by the OrthoCarolina Research Institute, Inc. (OCRI) and World Class CME.
The focus of the 2019 program is Spine Pathology and Its Mimickers: From Primary Care to Specialist. Physicians from multiple OrthoCarolina subspecialties will be “facing-off” in discussing a wide range of spine concerns along with potential mimickers.
Topics discussed during the event will be of particular interest to clinical and ancillary care providers in family medicine, physical therapy, and orthopedics as it relates to caring for patients suffering from back pain or spine concerns.
This year’s line up features guest speakers, Dr. Wellington Hsu from Northwestern Medicine and Dr. Don Teater of Teater Health Solutions. Local speakers include Dr. Colin Anderson from Levine Cancer Institute, Dr. Matt Chapman from OrthoCarolina’s Spine Center, Dr. Pat Connor from OrthoCarolina’s Sports Medicine Center, Dr. Bruce Darden from OrthoCarolina’s Spine Center, Dr. Chris Dollar from OrthoCarolina’s SouthPark Office, Dr. Tom Fehring of OrthoCarolina’s Hip and Knee Center, Dr. Glenn Gaston from OrthoCarolina’s Hand Center, Dr. Swaroop Gonchikar, Dr. Alden Milam, and Dr. Alfred Rhyne from OrthoCarolina’s Spine Center, Dr. Michael Paloski from OrthoCarolina’s Pediatric Center, Dr. Kinjal Parikh, a physiatrist from OrthoCarolina’s Spine Center, Bob Raspa from OrthoCarolina’s Ballantyne Urgent Care office, Dr. Alfred Rhyne from OrthoCarolina’s Spine Center, Dr. Shad Schiffern from OrthoCarolina’s Sports Medicine Center, Dr. Brad Segebarth from OrthoCarolina’s Spine Center, and Dr. Rachel Seymour from Atrium Health’s Musculoskeletal Institute.
We know you will find these topics to be valuable to physicians and the patients they treat.
