April 29th, 2020

Having an early Giving Tuesday is unprecedented, but that seems to be a theme these days, doesn’t it?

To give you some background: Giving Tuesday is traditionally the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and is an internationally recognized day that puts a spotlight on nonprofit organizations. The OrthoCarolina Research Institute is a non-profit 501(c)3 dedicated to facilitating research that advances orthopedic treatments.

If you’ve seen a doctor for a hurting knee, sore back, or broken bone, you’ve directly benefited from orthopedic research and the work that the OrthoCarolina Research Institute (OCRI) does everyday.

Our team is constantly asking questions and looking for practical ways to improve patient care through research.

There are two ways for you to show your support for orthopedic research between now and May 5.

1. Give a donation

When you support orthopedic medical research, you are helping medical researchers continue to build and improve quality of life.

Please support the OrthoCarolina Research Institute on May 5 to continue improving care for orthopedic patients in Charlotte and beyond.

Our goal is to have 50 new donations placed between now and Tuesday, May 5. Will you help us reach our goal?

100% of donations go directly to funding orthopedic breakthroughs.

2. Give thanks

We know many of you have developed a bond with your care team during surgery and/or recovery. Send a quick thank you to them on Giving Tuesday!

Help us send messages of thanks to the OrthoCarolina team. Send a video, thank you note, or photo to ocresearch@orthocarolina.com extending your thanks to the people who took great care of you or a loved one.

OCRI can’t continue this work without the support of generous people like you!

Please consider donating to orthopedic research at OCRI during this year’s early Giving Tuesday on May 5.
