OrthoCarolina Research Institute recently hosted an e-mail outreach campaign allowing others the chance to help improve research that affects the lives of future orthopedic patients. OrthoCarolina patients had the opportunity to cast votes to award a $10,000 research grant to the OrthoCarolina sub-specialty closest to their heart: Foot & Ankle, Hand & Wrist, Hip & Knee, Pediatrics, Spine, or Sports Medicine.
After over 7,000 votes were cast and tabulated, OCRI is proud to announce that Hip & Knee is the winner of the $10,000 research grant. On behalf of OCRI and future patients, we thank everyone who voted or sent in a personal testimonial.
