OCRI’s Senior Research Scientist, Dr. Susan Odum, has recently been notified by the Editor of the Annals of Internal Medicine that her recent article, “In-Hospital Complication Rates and Associated Factors After Simultaneous Bilateral Versus Unilateral Total Knee Arthroplasty” has been identified by the American College of Physicians (ACP) Journal Club as “an original study that warrants immediate attention by physicians attempting to keep pace with important advances in internal medicine”. The article was considered by the ACP Journal Club to be clinically relevant and newsworthy, as well as being noted for its high standard of methodology.
